Ed & Neil Pearlman:  American Scottish

Scottish music from America, the crossroads of cultures:

Scottish & Cape Breton fiddle & piano flavored with jazz and Latin

American Scottish -- a hybrid of Scottish and Cape Breton traditions as performed for over 30 years by fiddler Ed Pearlman.  Based in Boston and Maine, Ed has cultivated Scottish traditional music throughout America as a performer, teacher, and promoter of great fiddlers.  His son, pianist Neil Pearlman, grew up with this legacy and infused it with jazz, Latin, and pipe band rhythms – an expression of America, crossroads of cultures.
